What happens to the completed application after I submit it?
Completed online recruitment applications are sent in an encrypted format directly to Statistics Canada’s headquarters in Ottawa. Encryption, or encoding, ensures that only Statistics Canada employees may access the files. The information from the applications is then transferred to a separate Statistics Canada computer network that is not connected to any outside network. Only authorized Statistics Canada employees have access to information from online recruitment applications.
How do I know that you have received my online recruitment application?
Once you submit your online recruitment application, a confirmation code will appear on your screen indicating that Statistics Canada has received your application. It is recommended that you keep a copy of the confirmation page for your records.
Can I print the application?
No. The online recruitment application does not provide the option to print.
